The Leadership Education And Development Office

LEAD offers a wide variety of Leadership Education and Development Programs that are tailored to students at different levels of leadership development. Our programs provide opportunities to develop a strong sense of self, augment critical thinking and interpersonal skills, develop global and cultural competencies, and cultivate organizational skills for transition into the professional world. We offer two full-day conferences (Leadership Mason Conference and Mason Leadership Institute), two one-week long retreats (LeaderShape and SOEL), two semester-long seminars (Emerging Leaders and Active Leaders), two dialogue/speaker series (Presidential Leadership Dialogues and Alumni Speaker Series) and two student groups (L-TEAM and LEADScholars). We also provide leadership resources and develop customized workshops for student organizations, Mason athletic teams, alumni and various offices.
